Bacon Almond Apricot Appetizers..........

I made these for our New Years Eve party and they were a big hit .
Thought I would share them with you.
The on down-side to this recipe
is the turning 1/2 way threw the cooking time.....
I really did not enjoy flipping
100 little bacon appetizers ...lol

Bacon-Almond- Apricot Appetizers Recipe
2 lb bacon slices , cut in half
2- 10 ox boxes of apricot
1/2 cup pineapple or plum or grape jam or jelly
1/4 cup of Soy Sauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.
Wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around an apricot half, that you have stuffed with almond slices.
Secure with a toothpick.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is brown & crisp.
Turn once during baking.
While the bacon is cooking mix the jam & soy sauce in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the jam has melted and mixed with the soy sauce.
Remove appetizers from oven and place on paper towels to remove excess grease.
Serve dipping sauce with the appetizers.

Enjoy, GG
