I do not believe that anyone with any understanding of God’s word can sit and say we are not in the season the Lord calls the last days .
I want to thank all of the readers of this blog who come by on Fridays and read through these prophecy posts. I know that they can be quite lengthy.
While many of us have differing views it is nice to be able to have a place to share my thoughts on these subjects and a place to record what I have studied out.

The 7 Trumpets
What if these Trumpet Prophecies are not one day events. What if they are “seasons” of time , what if some of the trumpets may have sounded already.
Re:8:6: And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
1st Angel sounded
Re:8:7: The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
2nd Angel sounded
Re:8:8: And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
Re:8:9: And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
Interesting Note : World War II was a brutal war. 52 million people lost their lives in the war. It was worse than the 8 million deaths occurring in World War I. 105,127 ships participated in WWII. Of these ships, 36,387 were destroyed. The hundred-thousand ships consisting of Battleships, cruisers, German U-boats and submarines used torpedoes, shelling, bombs, kamikazes, and mines to sink the enemy. The Germans were suspected to have even dropped explosives in the water to set off a blind explosion, in mere hopes of hitting the submarine below. It is not hard to imagine what the inhabitants of the sea went through in this ordeal from the explosions.If the apostle John was seeing what was to come in the far future, then obviously he would be out of touch with such advanced technology. If he saw "something like a giant mountain, all ablaze," it can very well be linked to the fiery atomic mushroom cloud rising from Hiroshima, then falling into the sea. John went to his grave not knowing what he has seen. Knowing that he was only a man from almost 2,000 years ago, the reader must then interpret what he has seen as something more modern. ~ Irvin Baxter
3rd Angel sounded
Re:8:10: And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
Re:8:11: And the name of the star is called Wormwood (Chernobyl), : and the third part of the waters became wormwood (Chernobyl), ; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Interesting Note: In 1986, the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl, Ukraine had a meltdown and had released radiation ten times more than the bomb at Hiroshima, Japan. Most people already know this. But what most people don't realize is that the Ukrainian word Chernobyl in English means wormwood, Something harsh or embittering. The nuclear explosion had shot up at least a mile in the sky, and a great storm came that day and scattered the radiation throughout the sky, to be rained down and brought to the many bodies of water. Now a severe storm came through that day, and lasted 5 straight days. Scientists have said that the radiation carried by the storm was moved to Scandinavia, Northern Italy, Germany, Great Britain and could have reached as far as the east coast of the United States. The "bitter" water spread from the nuclear explosion could have easily been the cause of increased cancer rates. Cancer rates have exploded since 1986, and it is no coincidence. That day alone, 125,000 had died to the nuclear explosion. But over 200 million are estimated to have experienced excess exposure from the spread. ~ Irvin Baxter
4thAngel sounded
Re:8:12: And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
Re:8:13: And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
Interesting Note: "The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night."This one is harder to explain, but if the 5th trumpet has already sounded, then the 4th must have been sounded as well. Matthew 24 might have an answer to this, in which Jesus is warning his apostles of his second coming, and of the great hardship which will come before his coming."For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."Why would Jesus say that the days would be shortened, when the Word of God holds true.2 Samuel 22:31 "The word of the LORD is flawless."Psalm 12:6 "And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times."Psalm 33:4 "For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does."If the days were shortened literally with time being sped up, a man who could run a four-minute mile would run 5 1/3 minutes, which most likely won't happen. But time could be moving faster without us knowing it. Einstein's theory of relativity states that E=mc squared, and that time is directly related with speed. Technology is increasing at an exponential rate, and it may be correlated with this, maybe not. One can only speculate. But either way, God will have wanted time to be sped up to save many and still follow his timetable of wrath and redemption without taking away any days from his tribulation. So two conclusions can be drawn from this: Did he shorten the Number of days, or the Length of each day? God would never go back on his Word.Daniel 12:11-13 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days."Here Daniel is told by God a Specific length of days. I seriously doubt God would go back on his own Word. So, a conclusion would be reached that God shortened the length of each day. Doesn't it seem like time is flying lately?~ Irvin Baxter
I always wondered about the possibility of this and thought perhaps the interesting note of the 4th trumpet was a bit weak until this past March when the earthquake in Chile actually altered the length of a day .

Re:9:4: And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Re:9:5: And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
Re:9:6: And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Re:9:10: And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
Re:9:11: And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.(Destroyer )
Interesting Note : (The 5th trumpet) prophesies a time when smoke will come out of the bottomless pit. The sun and the air will be darkened by the smoke. When Saddam Hussein was forced to withdraw from Kuwait in 1991, he wreaked his vengeance by setting 700 of the worlds richest oil wells on fire. As a result, the sun was not seen in the area for the next three months. At noon, it was as dark as at midnight. In this apocalyptic vision, John saw what he described as locusts coming out of the smoke. Only these were not ordinary locusts. He said that the locusts had breastplates of iron, their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth, the faces of men, and their stings were in their tails. John heard the sound of these locusts. He said, the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. I can't find a side picture of the helicopter with the teeth, but I know you've seen the yellow hair painted on the side of some, drawn to look like lions.The most incredible part of this prophecy is verse 11, "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon." Both Abaddon and Apollyon mean the destroyer. Why is this so important? When Saddam Hussein was born, his mother decided to name him Saddam because the name means "the destroyer." She did this because her pregnancy had been so terribly painful. This is not heresy, for the story of Hussein's birth was given to the Jerusalem Post by the Hussein's mother's Jewish servant who delivered the baby. ~ Irvin Baxter

Re:9:14: Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Re:9:15: And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
Re:9:16: And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand: and I heard the number of them.
Re:9:17: And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
Re:9:18: By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Re:9:19: For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
Re:9:20: And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Re:9:21: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Could the current build up of our troops in the Euphrates River region indicate we are in the season of the 6th trumpet? That would put us in a very interesting time in biblical prophecy. This prophecy indicates 1/3 of mankind would be killed or 2 Billion people. Could we be in that season . There has never been a time until now that a 200 million man army could be mounted. Many think that we are in the beginning of WW III . Many world leaders have stated that . They believe it began with 9/11 and that the first offensive in this war was the bravery of the passengers of flight 91 that crashed in a field in PA. We could be weeks , months or perhaps even days away from entering into another battle front with the tensions in Korea.
A clue these may be seasons possibly be over-lapping .
Re:10:7: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
7th Angel sounded -
1Co:15:51: Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co:15:52: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th:4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: ( the last trump) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th:4:17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th:4:18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Re:11:12: And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Re:11:13: And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Re:11:14: The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Re:11:15: And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
This 7th trumpet ushers in the 7 angels having the 7 last plaques of the wrath of God.
Re:15:1: And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
We have already exited as the Last trump began to sound.
1Th:5:9: For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
In the past several years as I have examined the scriptures myself and began to look at some of the traditional views I had held to regarding End-time events , I have had to change my position . God was revealing new understanding to me .
It began with the examination of a pre-tribulation rapture of the church. I had always believed a pre-tribulation rapture until God began to show me the trumpets and the “ LAST TRUMP” stuck out to me , and I tried with much study to put it together in my mind.
As I was getting understanding about the rapture issue, I was trying to line up
1Th:5:9: For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
It was not understandable to me until God showed me that there are two wraths
1) The Wrath of the Enemy -Re:12:12: Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
2) The Wrath of God .
Re:14:19: And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Re:15:1: And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Re:15:7: And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Re:16:1: And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Look up our redemption draws near !!!!!!!!
