The dry season is over.........

Expecting the Harvest

We are about to get wet with the long awaited former and latter rain .

De:28:12: The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

The Lord is about to give you the Harvest you have been waiting, praying and laboring for.

Lu:10:2: Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

From my living room window.....

Having my morning coffee back at camp after 10 days in the city. Shortly after my last post here. Our second or third day back at camp we woke to find our oldest dog Mercy with a small thumb-sized cyst on her female parts.

As Jonathan and I were finishing our coffee this "thing" had grown to the size of a golf-ball. We prayed over Mercy and I called the Vet in the city almost an hour away. They wanted to see her right awway and gave us an appointment that if we left immediately we would just be getting there.

Jonathan dropped me at the house in the city and took Mercy up the street to the vet. He came home an hour later with medications, a head cone , a huge bill and the prognosis of a tumor. They could operate, but they were not sure if that would "cure" her or not.

I was heart-broken. We stayed in the city for 10 days. John and I prayed over Mercy, the grand-children prayed. We loved on her and gave her her medicine, believing that this ugly tumor would go away. But it didn't. It kept getting bigger and more ugly and nasty.

Yesterday when John came back from a repair, we made the decision to come back to camp. The dogs love it here as much as we do. Mercy layed her head on my lap the whole ride back. I looked at my "old" girl. The gray whiskers on her face and thought how we had grown old with her.

My heart was heavy as Jonathan and I talked last night about putting her down. I could not sleep, I stayed up asking God to do what only He could,.... Well after midnight , I went to bed . Mercy and Cleo laying on my side of the bed on the floor. It began to rain ......a heavy rain.....a soothing and comforting sound on the roof . God's peace and presence came flooding in and I drifted off to sweet sleep.

Jonathan got up before me this morning and started the coffee. The dogs got up with me a little while later as the light was just breaking on camp. I poured my coffee and looked out the living room window. Listening to chirping birds and the steady humming of the fridge.

I took a sip or two and went to sit down on the sofa, I glanced at Mercy and could not believe my eyes. The tumor is GONE. Completely and totally GONE. I yelled to John outside to come in and check Mercy . We looked at each other in totally dumbfound ......and then I began to recognize......Jesus had touched Mercy girl.....Just as quick as that ugly , nasty tumor came it was gone in the Name of Jesus.....

I am praising the Lord Jesus this morning and testifying to His healing power. He healed my Mercy-girl ......I am totally convinced. God is Faithful. We can trust Him with everything.

From my kitchen window

This was my view....Back to my summer retreat at camp. We lost a whole month due to the hard winter in New England.

Everyone is slowly making their way back. Some of the "Florida" folks are returning.

It's nice to see my neighbor's again.

It's quiet in camp, early in the season. We woke to the sound of birds and insects.

Lovely, peaceful......all the spring flowers we planted before we left in the fall are blooming.

I am thankful and filled with gratitude to the Lord for allowing me to come back to camp for another season of great Fellowship, Family and Friends.

Limiting God

Hi All, It has been such a long time since I have been able to blog. My Hard-drive died again, a slow and painful death.

My husband graciously blessed me with a new laptop that will even work when I go to camp this year so I can stay "connected"....

That said, I would like to share with you a poignant experience I had this week . My Aunt Glenda and I went to visit my Auntie Flo, she is in a hospice facility .

She has end stage CHF and Dementia. She does not recognise her family, even her children and grand-children. Auntie Flo never forgot a birthday, or how many kids each of us had and their birthdays too. This past Monday we went to see her.

Her smile has not changed and even though she did not recognise us, she greeted us warmly and with a great big smile.

She always had one of the warmest , loving hearts. Everyone loves Auntie Flo.

We sat with her for quite some time in the day room, hoping to see a glimpse of Auntie Flo. Our Auntie Flo....hoping she would remember us. We had little glimpses when she looked at old pictures I had brought of us when we were younger, but it was clear Auntie Flo's mind was in a different place.

This visit was particularly emotional for my Aunt Glenda who loves her sister-in-law dearly.

We had gone to visit Auntie and also to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with her.

After about ninety minutes had passed, Auntie Glenda looked at me and said ....."How are we going to do this ???" Auntie Flo's cognative function was just not there.

We asked Auntie Flo is we could pray with her, she said "yes." We asked her if she prayed , she said "Yes". We prayed aloud in the day room , holding hands, each of us head bowed and eye's closed. We prayed a simple prayer that went something along these lines.

" Father, we come before you in the Name of Jesus , in agreement in His Name . We lift Auntie Flo up to you Lord Jesus. We ask that you would look upon her heart and see her thoughts, her heart and her mind and her intentions. Lord Jesus,we ask that she would call upon your Name, we commit Auntie Flo into your hands , that she would have eternal life in Christ Jesus and that she would walk with us on streets of Gold in your Kingdom on that day." Lord, please do what only you can. In Jesus' Name ".

When we finished praying, Auntie Flo looked up at us the beautiful smile shining. She put her hands together as if to pray, she put them to her chest and clearly said ....." My Lord" .

The Holy Spirit was there directing all , and it was such a stilling moment. We smiled at Auntie Flo, praising God with her.

I looked at my Aunt Glenda and said .....I think the Lord allowed Auntie Flo to speak these words for our benefit , so we would know .

God knows no limits. No matter how the situation looks or difficult the circumstance may appear. God is bigger , and He has no boundaries. God is Faithful.

Rev 19: 7-8 : Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come , and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that as he should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.

Friday Prophecy Post......Remnants, Fragments and Crumbs.....

Hi, I know it is Saturday , I really wanted to get this posted yesterday. But ....I thought today is better than not posting at all.

During a time of Prayer , Fasting and Study this week, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me in the Word.

I had been studying about spiritual warfare. Strongholds, our weapons.... atmostphere, climate and cultures.....

And while flipping the pages of my bible the Lord illuminated a scripture to me , it was this:

Joh:6:12: When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

I knew the Lord was directing me to this word, so I wrote it down , knowing it had significance, but not understanding it at the moment.

I continued on with my study in God's word .....

A short-time later I received a call from my Aunt. We always have a wonderful conversation in Christ whenever we are together or on the phone. I shared with her the word the Lord had given me and my Aunt spoke a prophetic word to be concerning the scripture.

I knew it was spot on and I received it as from the Lord. I also knew it was a larger word to be shared in ministry and teaching.

The "Fragments" are the meat ( God's Word) , we are to chew on it, digest it, take it apart carefully so that nothing is lost/spoiled/rotted....
Drawing up every word of God, the full counsel. All of God's word. There were many other words spoken as a personal word for me.

I love how God speaks to me, for even in the natural , I eat very slowly and and am always the last one finished at the table.

I am that way with God's word as well. I have to carefully chew on , meditate, extract all there is in each bite.

I was thrilled with the Lord for showing me this and thankful for my Aunt to be obedient to speak the meaning the Lord was showing me.

As I continued to study on this "Word" after my conversation with my Aunt and the Lord allowed me to dig into His word deeper to get even a richer understanding into this particular word .....another nugget , more revelation into what the Lord was sharing with me.

Joh:6:27: Labour not for the meat ( natural ) which perisheth( rot/spoil) , but for that meat( Word) which endureth( remains) unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Well into my fast, and later in the afternoon, I received a call from my pastor who shared the following word with me.......

M't:15:21: Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
M't:15:22: And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.M't:15:23: But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
M't:15:24: But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
M't:15:25: Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.M't:15:26: But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to
cast it to dogs.
M't:15:27: And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
M't:15:28: Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

What an incredible word......every word from the Lord is important, no matter how small it may seem to be. There is always the personal word for us, and then the word for ministry /teaching to be shared with others.

God gave this woman from Cannan the "Faith" to believe, to Ask, to Expect , and she received.

She spoke wisely to the Master, "even the dogs".....some would have been offended by what Jesus said to her ....but she was not, she knew her time was now and she spoke with faith , expecting .....

She was not caught up in what others would think, or who was watching her , she was waiting for her crumb..and what a crumb she got.

Her personal word from the Lord , a word of testimony/teaching and ministry and a miracle, her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

God is at move in the Body of Christ, He is preparing our hearts to be able to stand by faith in these days that are here and the days coming.

We can put out total confidence in HIM !
M't:10:22: And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

God always has a remnant ...Ro:11:5: Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Friday Prophecy Post ......A trembling cup

It has been quite some time since I have done a Friday Prophecy Post...with the prophecy pot stirring in the world and the Holy Spirit stirring my heart, I am resuming these posts beginning today ......

Zec:12:2: Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

The Israeli military is "ready for all eventualities" as the Arab and Muslim world undergoes "an earthquake," Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. AFP - The Israeli military is "ready for all eventualities" as the Arab and Muslim world undergoes "an earthquake," Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday just days after Egypt's regime collapsed.

"An earthquake is shaking the whole Arab world and a large part of the Muslim world and we don't yet know how these things will turn out," the premier said at a swearing-in ceremony for new army chief Major General Benny Gantz.

"We are ready for all eventualities because we know that the foundation of our existence, and our capacity to convince our neighbours to live in peace with us, is based on the Israeli army," he said during a ceremony at his Jerusalem office.

Gantz takes over the post as Israel's strategic stance in the Middle East undergoes a shakeup in the wake of a popular revolt in Egypt which ousted president Hosni Mubarak after three decades in power.

Mustard Seed Faith .........

If we have it , God's word tells us nothing shall be impossible to us .

M't:13:31: Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
M't:13:32: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

M't:17:20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

M'r:4:31: It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
M'r:4:32: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Lu:13:19: It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Lu:17:6: And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

I got a phone call today from Paula. Paula is a new and wonderful sister in Christ. The Lord allowed me to lead her in prayer to receive Jesus as her Savior just around Thanksgiving.

It was just about that time that I received my healing from a progressively terminal liver disease.

I met Paula the for the very first time at a Ladies Tea Fellowship, on Saturday January 22, 2011 . We had a glorious time and I wrote about it here on my blog http://athisfeetforever.blogspot.com/2011/01/belovedthink-it-not-strange.html

The next time that I saw Paula was this past Sunday at Church. What a delight it was to have Paula with us Worshipping and Praising God with all of us. She was so touched turning the service and went up after and was prayed for by the Pastors and Elders......Anointing her with oil and praying the prayer of faith for her healing.

Paula had a doctor's appointment this past Monday, and I received the call I was waiting to hear today...... Paula called this morning and said to me excitedly ...."Did Denise call you ?"....... I said " No".... I have been waiting to hear how your appointment went ......

Paula said ....." I got great news !!!!!!!, The doctor told me my blood was great , my numbers were all good and the cat scan on my liver shows I no longer need a liver transplant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

PRAISE GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She and I whooped and Hollered and praise God for a good long while......Rejoicing in God's Faithfulness and in His Miraculous healing power ......Laughing and crying and praising God!

I got to tell you folks we are seeing incredible healing's and salvations in our fellowship. God is moving in Power !!!!!!!!!!!

I am believing for Noreen, Carol and Tracie all of whom have a liver problem. God has allowed my paths cross with them and I am totally convinced that God wants to heal each of them totally and completely

What a mighty God we serve. God still heals, saves and delivers.......

You can count on Him !!!!!! GOD IS FAITHFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beloved...think it not strange.....

We had the most glorious , wonderful, Holy Spirit directed Ladies Tea Fellowship this past Saturday.

It was so directed of God that it was undeniable who was in control.

One of my sweet sisters in Christ, Mary, hosted this event in her home.

She had asked me to be her special secret guest speaker. Which I learned at church was only really a secret to me lol.

Mary is one of the dearest sisters in Christ that one could know. She has such a giving and endearing spirit. Mary loves all things beautiful, and she wears her title ~ Daughter of the King in the most magnificent way. Not showy or boastfully, but gently and sweetly.

Mary had delightful teas, petit fors, delicious cucumber sandwich and every kind of everything you could image.. Tea cups, and Tea pots and pretty things ......

Each of us ladies greeted each other , it was a joy to be with my sisters in Christ Jesus. We talked and hugged, exchanged gifts and greetings with each other.

Sister Rose opened our time together in prayer.....asking for God's blessings and anointing on our time together and for God's Word to come forth through the voice of His vessel.....

Mary introduced me as the guest speaker and as I lead the prayer, we prayed again for the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit.

I began with the following Scripture :

1Pe:4:12: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe:4:13: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

I had just barely had the scripture out of my mouth and I could hear the most gentle of weeps ......

So many of us are in fiery trials , are partaking in the sufferings of Christ, enduring persecutions , and yet we think that this is strange. Something must be wrong with us. There must be some secret sin. We must not have enough faith.....Maybe were not even the Lord's ........

More gentle weeps and knowing amens.

Beloved, There is nothing wrong with us .

Saints, there is something very, very right with us. Something that has not been taught to us. Something that needs to be proclaimed from the pulpits , so that we will understand.........

2Tm:3:12: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

I spoke a while longer to the sisters exhorting them in the Word regarding enduring in seasons of testings. I shared more scriptures and personal experiences:

Ph'p:1:28: And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Ga:6:9: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Eph:6:10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph:6:11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

I was finishing up my time sharing with them the testimony of my healing. How that God had healed my body of Primary Biliary Chirosis .

That the Lord had given me the scripture :
Psalms:118:17: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. and that I was to declare it in the house of the Lord, which I did the next day at church.

Then I heard my cousins young daughter say to the person sitting beside her ......"That is what they just told my Mom she had"....... I told Kasey , God could heal her Mom, just like he healed me.

Then I shared the scripture:
2Co:1:3: Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
2Co:1:4: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

I turned the meeting back over to Sister Mary......

Seated at the gathering was a new sister in Christ, her name is Paula, I had the privilege of leading her to the Lord Jesus right around Thanksgiving time.

Paula has been battling advance liver disease, and she heard of my healing through a beautiful sister in Christ, Denise. Denise, has minister the love of Christ for years to Paula in love and in the Word . And Paula was in the meeting with us this past Saturday. The first time I had the chance to meet her since she had given her heart to Jesus.

Sister Mary thanked me and was directed by the Holy Spirit for each of us to read a portion of scripture : She began with me and I read Isaiah 43 . She went around the room asking each lady to read a portion of scripture.

She got to Paula and asked her to read Psalm 18: 1 ......Paula is a new babe in Christ and turned to Psalm 118 and began to read the entire chapter.

We all knew she was reading the "wrong " one.....
But we knew it was the Holy Spirit when she got to Psalms:118:17: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Now Paula's voice is raspy as she is short of breath often, but when she got to that portion of scripture all of us were shouting as she read it loud and clear !!!!!!

It was the " wrong" scripture , but the Holy Spirit directed Paula right where she should go. !!!!!!

We were praising and glorifying God.

My precious Auntie Pat as an Elder and Pastor in ministry with my Uncle , got the anointing oil and we prayed the Prayer of Faith over Paula, believing for her healing !!!!!!!!!!! It was incredible !!!! The presence of God was there to heal her .

Lu:5:17: And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

We spent the rest of the afternoon and into the early evening in joyful fellowship! Glorifying the Lord God for all He has done for us. Oh what a wonderful time of sharing, love, tears, laughter, joy, healing, deliverance and wonderment!!!!!!!!!

God is Faithful dear brothers and sisters. Think it not strange !!!!
He is in control.

There is another name written down in glory....

Courtney who gave her heart and life to Jesus this Tuesday.
I was blessed to be one of the people there when she became born-again.

My Aunt Pat and dear friend Mary invited me to lunch this Tuesday at one of my favorite Japanese Restaurants that I have not been to in quite some time. What a delight to be able to go with them.

When we arrived it was right around lunch time and there were not too many people in the restaurant.
We were greeted with love and affection from the staff as Mary is a very frequent visitor , this is a harvest field for her . Many have come to know Jesus because of her testimony and faithful sharing of God's word and love.

We began our lunch with prayer and joy as we talked about prayer and increasing the fellowship. God has been doing many marvelous miracles in our midst . Life's changed, people coming to Christ, healing and deliverance's. The Holy Spirit is moving and it is a wonderful time.

Courtney came by several times while we were in fellowship and having lunch , always bringing up Jesus each stop she made to our table. The presence of God was so lovely in the restaurant.

One of her final stops to the table she lingered a bit longer as we shared the word and love of God with her Mary, Aunt Patty and I.
Aunt Patty asked her if she would like to receive Jesus as her Savior and Lord and she said "YES" !

She prayed with all of us right there at our table and gave her heart and life to Jesus.!!!!!!

We were full of excitement and joy !!!! She was thrilled , worshipping God and thanking Him for His goodness!!!! It was a powerful. The Holy Spirit was all over Courtney. She was so aware of His peace and glorious presence as we were.

With all of our praising and thanksgiving going on , two diners left without paying their bill. ( They were not Courtney's customers, but were Amanda's another young lady who works there )

We immediately covered their bill being prompted by the Holy Spirit to do so and it was a testimony of God's love in action to Helen the owner.

Please keep in prayer that God would touch Helen's heart , that we may be able to have a Bible Study weekly at the restaurant !!! Please keep us in prayer that if this is God's will He will open the door.

May God continually put in us the desire to share Jesus wherever we may be .....

Grammy Goo's BBQ pulled Pork.

Seems like when we have an event now , I get the request to make this with Cole Slaw and Rolls. I just made it for my brother in laws Christmas party and it was delicious . It is a simple cook all day roast that comes out slightly different buy yummy everytime ! It is perfect for Superbowl Sunday !!!!! You can head off to Chruch , leave it in your Roaster and pull it when you come home.

Enjoy....

Ingredients

Dry Rub:

3 tablespoons paparika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon dry mustard

3 tablespoons coarse salt

1 (7 to 10 pound) pork roast, preferably shoulder or Boston butt

Apple Cider-Vinegar Barbecue Sauce:

1 1/2 cups Bragg’s All Natural Apple Cider Vinegar

1 cup yellow or brown mustard

1/2 cup ketchup

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

2 garlic cloves, smashed

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cayenne

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Pan drippings from the pork

18-24 Western buns or bulkies

1 recipe Cole Slaw, recipe follows

Dill Pickle spears and Sweet Butter Pickles , for serving

Directions

Mix the paprika, garlic power, brown sugar, dry mustard, and salt together in a small bowl. Rub the spice all over the pork. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

I cook this now in my GE Oven Roaster so I can bring it with me to whatever gathering I have made this for. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Put the pork in the roasting pan and roast it for about 6-9 hours hours.

An instant-read thermometer stuck into the thickest part of the pork should register 170 degrees F, but basically, what you want to do is to roast it until it's falling apart.

While the pork is roasting, make the bbq sauce

Combine the vinegar, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, salt, cayenne, and black pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. gently, stirring, for 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Take it off the heat and let it sit until you're ready for it.

When the pork is done, take it out of the oven and put it on a large platter. Allow the meat to rest for about 10 minutes. While it's resting, deglaze the pan over medium heat with 3/4 cup water, scraping with a wooden spoon to pick up all of the browned bits. Reduce by about half. Pour that into the saucepan with the sauce and cook 5 minutes.

While the pork is still warm, you want to "pull" the meat: Grab 2 forks. Using 1 to steady the meat, use the other to "pull" shreds of meat off the roast.

Put the shredded pork roast in a bowl and pour half of the sauce over.

Stir it all up well so that the pork is coated with the sauce.

To serve, spoon the pulled pork mixture onto the bottom half of each bun and top with some slaw. Serve with pickle spears and the remaining sauce on the side.

Cole Slaw:

3 bags of Cabbage Mix

1 red onion thinly sliced

2 green onions (white and green parts), chopped

1 1/2 cups miracle whip

1/4 cup brown mustard

1 tablespoon Bragg’s all natural apple cider vinegar

1 lemon, juiced

2 Tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Several dashes hot sauce

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Combine the cabbage, carrots, red onion, green onions, in a large bowl. In another bowl, stir together the miracle whip mustard, vinegar, lemon juice, and sugar. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss gently to mix. Season the cole slaw with the celery seed, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Chill for 2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.

In the Beginning...........

Wow another new year ...........How exciting. How glorious.
1-11-11.

I started off this New Year much like many other years. My daily bible reading. Cleaning, Cleaning and more cleaning from the New Year's Eve party we hosted last evening.

Washed every piece of laundry and linens in the house and did my best to walk past very fat-filled left over available in abundance.

What I found as I went through the day was a calm and peace that was beyond my normal experience.

My mind was not cluttered with the usual everyday demands and attempts to cause me to worry or stressed. It was entirely wonderful. And I actually napped today , guilt -free and it was delightful.

The awareness of Christ with me was lovely and restful .

I am looking forward with great anticipation to this New Year. Wonderment at what the Lord will do in and through us !

Psalms:40:5: Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Revelation 20-22

It is the final daily reading I have for 2010 , this is where I find myself every New Years Eve for the last sixteen years or so, since the Lord put on my heart to read through the bible each year.

I use a program that sends my reading to my computer everyday. It works for me.

I always read through chronologically , and in the King James Version. This is what I enjoy. It has become where I know what season I am in because of where I am in my daily reading.

2010 has been an incredible year for me. A year of sorrow, trials, afflictions, testing......But, also a phenomenal year of growth, expectation, open doors, ministry, faith, and FRUIT..... Thank you Lord Jesus for fruit.

Never in my walk with Christ have I felt such expectation, hope, contentment in my surroundings and situations as I have had this year.

The refining process is painful, truly painful.....but what it produces is worth the pain.

Never has my heart been more thankful, never have I felt such love for Jesus, never have I had such a burden for the lost....... It has been a year of growth, pressing on, growing up daily in Christ Jesus, surrendering all, believing the impossible, stretching the limits, going out in the deep waters, straining to hear His voice, leaning into His presence......

Never before have I looked forward with Joy, Hope and Anticipation of what Christ is doing as I am now........He is so Faithful . I love Him more each moment I breathe.....

Thank you dear friends who travel with me in posts and prayers. Believing for a miraculous , faith-filled, 2011 for each of you.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you minute by minute.....

My Thanksgiving Miracle

To God be the Glory !!!!!!!!!

I have a testimony of God's healing power. Some of you may remember that back in July I was given a diagnosis of primary biliary cirrhosis disease which is a progressive disease resulting in death unless you have a liver transplant.

Yesterday , I went for my follow-up with the Liver Specialist and Praise God all my liver enzymes are "WELL WITHIN NORMAL RANGE" . Dr Sawhney was baffled, he kept check and re-checking my blood work , looked at every chart he could compare my results with and then he said to me " Well, wonderful the treatment is working" . I told him , " Well, the truth of the matter Dr Sawhney is that I am responding to the prayers of the saints and Jesus Christ is restoring my liver and healing my body. .....

He just smiled. He is yet to know Jesus......He does not need to see me for 5 months. The worst thing he could say was that I had gained a pound. So I was instructed to watch my Thanksgiving consumption......LOL....

I will be partaking of all the wonderful bounty God has provided for us this year. I am Praising the Mighty God and Savior My Lord Jesus Christ, who spoke to me that He has extended the years of my Life.

May God richly Bless each of you this Thanksgiving. May the love of God be shed abroad in our hearts .

Thank you all so much for your love and prayers. Love you all , In Christ Jesus, Ella

Isa:61:1: The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa:61:2: To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa:61:3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Isa:61:4: And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Winter has arrived in Central New England

Whoo Hoo....Our first snow and winter weather advisory of the season. It is cold with a mix of Rain/Sleet and Snow.

Nothing significant in the way of accumulation, but slippery never the less.

The kids will like it when they get up for school this morning ;)

Have a Blessed Monday!

Isa:61:7: For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Isa:61:8: For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isa:61:10: I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Isa:61:11: For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Hello Dear Friends.........

Wow.....It surely is cold this morning in central New England! We have definately entered another season.....

Giving thanks to the Lord Jesus that my PC is fixed !

Mobile Blogging is not fun. And while I have learned some little techie tricks. To me, it is not nearly as wonderful as typing on a full keyboard with out a stylus, nor straining to see the letters.

Gosh , there is so much going on in the world.
The Elections, our national safety, foreign and domestic difficulties, earthquakes, tsunami's , horrific murder trials, indecencies flaunted through every available venue......

Surely the day of the return of the Lord is drawing ever nearer.

Prudent for us to remain......Saved, Sanctified and Ready for His Service!

Happy November dear friends ! Good to be back ......again!

Living for and Serving Jesus........

Are you as excited about Jesus this Monday morning as you were in Praise and Worship Service yesterday ???? Amen........That the life we live would be glorifying to Christ Jesus, not just Sundays but everyday.
Praying that God would be Glorifed in my Life today ~~ Blessings, Ella

Ph'p:1:12: But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

Ph'p:1:13: So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

Ph'p:1:14: And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Ph'p:1:15: Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:Ph'p:1:16: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

Ph'p:1:17: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

Ph'p:1:18: What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Ph'p:1:19: For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Ph'p:1:20: According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Ph'p:1:21: For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Ph'p:1:22: But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Ph'p:1:23: For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Ph'p:1:24: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
Ph'p:1:25: And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
Ph'p:1:26: That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
Ph'p:1:27: Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Ph'p:1:28: And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
Ph'p:1:29: For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Ph'p:1:30: Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Friday Prophecy Post......Triple Blessings .....................

Years ago , when I began to study the book of Revelation , that the Spirit of God showed me in the first words of the book the triple blessing of the Book of Revelation. It was enough back then to keep me coming back for more .

As the years passed , and I grew in Christ, I swam in the deep waters of revelation excited to hear what the Spirit was saying to the Churches.

Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled hourly and it is an exciting time to be alive and serving Jesus. I am happy to be back to blogging again and sharing my thoughts with you dear friends.

Revelation is one of the most exciting books of the Bible. Give it a try, there is a triple blessing .......

Re:1:1: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant

John:Re:1:2: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Re:1:3: Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

You may just find that the Lord takes you swimming in the deep waters of Revelation more frequently.

Blessings, Ella

Always Remember.....................

When God made you He did so with a purpose and a plan.

He saw all your days before you lived one of them and placed over you the covering of His protective love.

He has allowed nothing in your life that has not been screened through that love His hand has remained upon you to this very day.

He calls you by name You are His beloved child..............the apple of His eye......the delight of His heart.

Today you are in the exact place He wants you to be. And tomorrow He will be with you as He has always been .......in goodness, in kindness, in faithfulness.

Roy Lessin
Sharing these word with you dear friend in hope that they will be a comfort to you as it they were to me at my birthday this year. The very next day I was given news that would challenge all that God had said to me the day before.... These words now comfort my heart as I know that God spoke to me personally on my birthday this year to let me know He is with me in every trial, every battle, and keeps me in all paths that He has set before me. Hoping you will know the same as you walk through the days ahead.

Summer 2010.......

Hello Dear Friends ~

I'm Back .......What a summer this has been. It has been a summer of Family Fun, Love and Fiery Trials.

This was the first year that my family has owned a seasonal Camp. We officially became campers there on July 1, 2010. Just in time for an extended Nationwide heat-wave. Thank you Jesus for Air conditioning and an Olympic size pool.

Many Hot summer days spent there enjoying the sunshine and each other. Jonathan and I spent the weeks mostly by ourselves with family coming up on weekends and events in -between.

Our family is expecting a new baby in January Our niece Ginny and nephew Mike announced the news a few weeks back.

Our precious Aunt Sandi whom many of you prayed for went home to be with Jesus on August 25th . She was here at home with us surrounding her bedside. Slipping in and out of peaceful sleep. Repeated telling us how happy she was to be home. We prayed with her . She had a few tastes of her favorite Ice Cream, a few sips of her Pepsi and spoke with each of us before closing her eyes and slipping into Jesus' waiting arms.

The week before she passed I was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. It is an auto immune disease that is attacking my thyroid and my liver. According to the doctors there is no cure. Just one approved pill that slows the progression of the disease.

Thank God I have the best doctor there is .........Jesus. He knows the days of my life and is the strength of my heart and portion forever.

Camp has become the most peaceful place of God's presence and comfort to Jonathan and I . I really love it there and look forward to the times we have there as a wonderful refuge from the cares of this world. It is wonderful to be there with him my beloved hubby. What a precious jewel the Lord has given me in him.

God's word comes alive to me in His creation , it has been a season of tremendous awareness of His grace, mercy and love.

And so now I am back. I still have some few weekends we can go to the camp before they close for the season in October. But I am back to blogging and sharing my thoughts within this wonderful community of dear friends I have so enjoyed and missed.

Looking forward to posting again , particularly the Friday Prophecy Posts!

Sweet Grilled Pork Chops.......

Seeing how 90% of all my cooking at Camp is done on the outside grill, I have been adjusting my culinary skills. I am not exactly a grill master and have wreaked lots of experiments, but when one comes out well. It is in the "rotation" This is one of them. Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we have.

Ingredients
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup Sangria wine
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon dry mustard
6 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
1 (15.25 ounce) can crushed pineapple
3 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
In a medium container, mix onion, wine, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and dry mustard. Place pork chops in the mixture. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight. Turn pork chops once while marinating. Prepare an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
Arrange pork chops on the grill, and cook 9 to 12 minutes on each side, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F . Top with crushed pineapple and brown sugar before removing from heat. Discard remaining marinade.

Calling them into the Kingdom...............

My prayer life has changed a bit in my current more peaceful surroundings. I am finding myself extremely burdened for the lost, and especially for my loved ones as well. I have heard God speak to my spirit to "call" them into the Kingdom.

So I have begun to speak their name and call them into the kingdom of God in my prayers, praying for the deliverance's and mighty exploits that they will do for the glory of God......

I so miss being able to share my Friday Prophecy Posts....

But I am certain of this , that my current position finds me in a place of evangelism and prayer like never before.

These are exciting times to be alive brothers and sisters. May God place the same urgency within us all to "call them into the Kingdom"

Love in Christ, Ella
