It is staggering the number of Prophets, Teachers, Apostles, Bishops, Leaders in this world that are naming the Name of Christ and leading people astray….
It is not my intention to list people or to name them.
As God’s children we have His Holy Spirit to lead and to direct us.

The evening arrived , and the man came with his wife, as they entered our house , something stirred in my spirit and not in a good way, they took a seat in our living room and the Holy Ghost in me knew immediately there was something awry with this couple.
They were an older couple, very educated and well groomed.
They both had bibles with them. We sat in the Living Room and gave each other a bit of back-ground , I stayed unusually reserved and quiet as I was listening to the voice of the Spirit of God.
It did not take long before their intentions and beliefs began to “manifest”.

She was a very educated woman who immediately began to dominate the discussion, as she continued in her erroneous doctrinal beliefs she actually began to manifest almost what I would call a demonic countenance.
I was looking to my husband to see if he was getting the same discernment. He was .

Needless to say this couple, believed they were of a higher consciousness to the written Word of God , that it was basically as any other book .
The frightening thing was , she was a teacher, and He was a minister in the Prison system in our state spreading this false doctrine to a “captive” audience .

We were horrified to say the least. It was like something out of the movies.
But thankfully my husband and I had experience in spiritual warfare and manifestation of demonic activity so we able to quickly rid our house of them and all they brought in with them.

I must admit, the hair stood up on the back of my neck when you told of those people coming into your home. I have no doubt it was God's plan for no one else to attend that meeting!

Going through Jesus' discourse in Matthew Chapter 24 all these weeks has been challenging. But I pray beneficial.

My prayer is that people will truly have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying through you.
My husband and I are encountering so many false prophets today that it seems epidemic in our area (but I'm sure everywhere else too).
We are so weary and burdened as we watch those we know and love literally 'chasing' after prophetic words and the 'newest waves and movements' of signs, wonders and miracles. I grieve to the point of tears over the gold-dust, white feathers, gems from heaven, oil from the skin and 'manna from heaven' manifestations of what they say is "the glory".
I am weary of those who run to tell us that yet another prophet has told them the generic term: "you will go to the nations".
And like your experience, we're seeing it more and more. Even to the point of coming into our home in the hopes of 'seducing' us. We've lost good friends to these false prophets and this movement.
Again... I pray that many ears will hear this and really REALLY seek God before they fall prey to these ever increasing false prophets.

My heart aches for those that have bent their ear to hear a word they perceived as from the Lord.
Even when the word did not come to pass, they still hunger after that "special" word just for them. I am speaking of dear friends , men of God that we highly esteemed in Christ Jesus, with years of ministering to the saints......so I totally understand the heart-ache you feel.
We have to carefully weigh these things and try every spirit as God's word speaks to us.

I have been learning to listen to the Holy Spirit's voice as well, and He always leads me into the truth. I thank God for His Holy Spirit, otherwise many would be led astray and deceived!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. The first thing Jesus tells the disciples in Matthew after the initial question is this : M't:24:4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
I have found that the times when I have Taken heed as Jesus tells me I am okay....
When I continue moving in a direction when I should have taken heed....Not so good...
Sometimes I an slow to hear, but the older I get, the more I strain to hear Him.

Ella, we can see so many signs pointing us toward the end...and the false prophets and false teachers seem to be in abundance. Praise God for you and your husbands spirit of discernment to know the enemy.
The largest number of them can be found in the churches. I am amazed by some of the teachings out there and how many just fall for it without checking to see it what the person is saying is Scriptural or not.

Nothing has changed since Jesus, Paul, James, Jude and Peter warned us in the NT.
I think that is why it is so important for each of us to have God's word in us. God's word is a discerner....The more of it in us, the more easily it is to recognize false teaching.
Heb:4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
God is so Faithful. Exciting days we are living in. Praying to use every opportunity in my everyday life to share the love, grace and salvation of Jesus Christ.
