Another Season.............

It is bone chilling cold this morning 28 degrees.

All of the puddles outside from yesterdays heavy rain, have changed into mini skate rinks.
One of the things that I look forward to in this season, is the time I spend with family and friends.

People's hearts seem to be a little more tender, and I look forward to planting seeds of God's word that I pray will lead to the salvation of loved ones and people that God brings across my path.

Praying this is a fruitful season. Asking God to keep me tender-hearted and free in my spirit and heart to share my faith in Christ fluently

Joh:15:4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I agree that the hearts of most are a bit more tender this time of year. I'm so glad that Christmas comes in the cold, dark portion of winter. Just when things look 'dead' and bleak and hopeless - we are able to celebrate the coming of the One who came to give us abundant life!
Praying with you that God keep my heart soft and compassionate so that He could use me to share His love with family, neighbors and friends.
Blessings Grammy,
Deb

Grammy,
I have to chime in and agree too that we are more tender hearted this time of year.
Can you imagine the change that would take place if we applied this tenderness year round and not just during the holiday season.
Amen to your prayer!

Rose

Rose~~
Sometimes it is only in this "season" that I get to see certain family members and friends.
Oh that we would be keenly aware and sensitive to the Holy Spirit prompting us .......Your right Rose, it would change the world!

I love the scripture in the book of Acts in the story of those storming the household of Jason.

Ac:17:6: And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;

Wow!!!!!!!! I love that ......They turned the world upside down!!!!! Whoo Hoo ;-)
