Dear Friends,
I am in search of a tried and true recipe for New England Clam Chowder and Manhattan Clam Chowder. I promised my Alianna that Grammy-Goo would make her Claim Chowder when she goes back to School. ( It felt like Fall here today )
The kids return to school on Wednesday and I still have not found my recipe for either of these chowders.
I suppose I could look one up, but if any of you would be willing to share one that you have and love , I would much prefer that .

Although I'm a NYer, New England Clam Chowder rocks my world. We just went to the Black Pearl in Newport for their clam chowder and I don't think you could ever get anything better.
However, I did find this well rated recipe on All Recipes so maybe try that? I'd look there for Manhattan too and sort on ratings. Those ratings really help separate the good from the bad.
