Examining all of the foliage and plants and shrubs, trees, flower beds, around and about this old house is a lot of fun.
Recently while we were planting new Juniper and Holly and upon closer investigation .........
I found around the entire perimeter of the granite foundation ...........English Ivy.
Lots and Lots of it. I love bringing the outdoors in and this will make it's way into the house by the fall.
This is what I rescued from and area that will become a new planting bed. I just love it

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. Glad to have a new sister in Christ as a friend!
I have some ivy that just would not grow in my pot so I got annoyed with it and threw it out among the trees and its taken over. Looks like a jungle with all the hanging ivy. It's much more beautiful natural than it ever was in the pot.
Hi Rose,
I so throughly enjoyed your blog.
I just love ivy and it was such a surprise to find it all over the foundation of this old house.
Thanks for dropping in. Isn't just wonderful to be a part of the Family of God!
Blessings, GG
