We are in the middle of a MAJOR ice Storm.......... It is really nasty weather. Everything is basically at a stand-still in the city for now . The Major News Networks are here reporting up the street from us on Bell Hill.
There is literally about an inch of ice encasing everything. The trees, the cars, the rooftops. It really is very pretty like crystal droppings from a chandelier . I really do believe the Lord is the most awesome designer.

Oh Ella, I am praying. While it is so beautiful, it is so dangerous. I hear my own state capital is shut down for part of this storm. We are not getting it praise the Lord. It was way too warm for ice. But. Our turn is coming. Western NY is known for their blizzards:) Plus, there caterpillars were far too hairy this year. The squirrels also took all of our 4 trees of walnuts we had.
To add insult to injury it is going to snow today , tomorrow and a possible significant snow-storm on Friday.
Most of the schools are going to stay closed until at lest January 5th or later
Ginger there are still people in our area without services, Fitchburg & Holden have been hit really bad and now with the snow. and another coming tomorrow they are still without electric, heat and water. Last evening was -6 degrees with the wind-chill.
